We are excited to announce the first 'Clever Crafters' Handmade Fair by Lenny & Me and Three Birds Gallery. This holiday craft event will be held at our 1459 N. Milwaukee location on Saturday, December 5th from 12-7pm. We will have talented local artists set up with anything from hand knit scarves and jewelry, to fine art prints and paintings. This event is sure to be a wonderful day filled with live music, tasty treats, refreshments and lovely array of crafters with their locally made goods. Every year, from the time we were little babies, the day after Thanksgiving, my 2 younger sisters, my mom, my grandmother and my aunt and I used to bundle up and take the Southshore train into Chicago to go to Marshall Field's downtown store. We would tell Santa what we wanted for Christmas and then have a special lunch in the Walnut Room. My favorite was baked corned beef hash, the best in the whole world!

It was and will always be a magical time!

We miss you Marshall Fields!
